Grandpa and Heidi Visit San Antonioioioio

Grandpa and Heidi came in for the weekend....let me start by saying thank you to them for all they did for us and the kiddos!  We are so grateful for your generosity!!!!!  I'll finish by saying.....look at the following pictures, then you'll see how we spent most of our weekend--having FUN!!  They will be missed!

Go Blue Lightning!  That's the team name for Holden's first soccer season.  Sorry, Marcy, they gave us the blue jersey...didn't have a choice!

Sports Day At School!!

On any ordinary school day, the kiddos are required to wear shirts with collars and shorts under skirts and dresses....until SPORTS DAY!!  Of course I was scouring the kids' closets looking for any type of memorabilia...couldn't find ANYthing!  That's when one of my besties -Marcy- helped out.  She managed to find a Utes cheer uniform and shirt for them...and overnighted it!  God bless her!

Of course Mr. Picky decided to wear a "real" soccer shirt!  Thanks to Ms. Lil and Adam for loaning us that one!

What's New Pussycat?

Texas drivers aren't really drivers...they're all distracted pedestrians giving behind the wheel a try.  No one seems to know how to make a protected left turn (you claim your spot!), and they certainlly follow too close.  Many of them participate in hit and run accidents, as either party.  Our latest experience has left me driving a rented Yukon for the next month......

The vehicle on the left of us made an evasive maneuver and sideswiped the Honda.  My brand new, precious Honda has over 4500 in damages, will be in the shop for over a month, and will be sadly missed.  You'll be happy to know that in the interim, the driver was found and will likely be punished for his crime....one can hope.  Where's that Texas vigilante justice guy Walker when you need him?!?

Oh, we're all okay...guess that would have been appropriate in the first paragraph!!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!

YAY!  Is all I can say!  Jillian started 2nd grade and Holden started Kindergarten this past monday.  Of course now Kepler is demanding 110% of my attention...so I decided to channel it into The Little Gym...which he started today!  Jason got to go with us (he's off this week)...

He looks SOOOOO happy!

Kepler is very athletic...agile...and strong. He LOVED his first day at The Little Gym!

Kacie and WT Visit San Antone...

Jason's sister (Kacie) and her significant other (his name is Richard, aka WT or Witch Turd) visited last weekend for a fun-filled, relaxing few days with us and the kiddos.
